BattTech Doctoral Programme
The BattTech doctoral programme is offered in cooperation with the Bavarian Center for Battery Technology (BayBatt) and is designed for doctoral students conducting research in modern energy storage systems. The programme aims to enable innovative contributions to the further development of battery technologies, while ensuring structured, interdisciplinary training.
BattTech brings together diverse engineering and scientific disciplines, including materials science, electrical engineering, electrochemistry, and process engineering. This close collaboration allows doctoral students to tackle complex challenges from multiple perspectives and to develop comprehensive scientific competencies.
In addition to individual research, participants benefit from a structured qualification programme comprising seminars, specialist courses, and networking opportunities. An extended mentorship system supports doctoral candidates throughout the entire doctoral journey, providing guidance and support for both their professional and personal development.
